SOAR High School’s prom tickets are still on sale, and prom attendees can’t wait for the day to arrive! The hosts of this year's prom, Class of 2026, announced their theme for this celebration and students have already begun buzzing with excitement. The tickets have just bumped up to $110, so make sure to grab them while they’re available! The theme, Elysian Dreams, features aspects of a Night in Greece. Its main colors? White and gold, and don’t hold out on the glitter. But what do SOAR High students think of it? It seems to generate a huge mix of opinions.
With Prom being just a few months away, students have been chatting about the once-a-year event. There are a few juniors and seniors who say they are planning to sit this year out: Juniors planning to go next year, like Sophia Kendall and Kiara ViDemantay; while many seniors are planning to do so because they attended last year, like Leilani Martinez Abarca.
But there are indeed some who have already started planning. Karina Rosales, A SOAR Senior said, “Yes, I’m definitely going to prom. I have an exact vision of how I want my outfit to look like! I’m sticking to the theme this year; I'm going to wear all gold—dress and heels. I can’t wait to go this year because I didn’t have a chance to go to my Junior prom.” And she’s not the only one. SOAR Senior Mariah Crocker also shared her excitement about the anticipated event. “I was so excited when I heard this year's theme. I’ve had a dress in mind for my senior prom since last year! I was so lucky that the dress I’ve been eyeing and the theme line up!” She’s going to be sporting her wonderfully sparkling dress, so make sure you do the same.
There is a dress code though! Dress to Impress. SOAR High is definitely not breaking that rule! Keep on the lookout for all the amazing outfits you’ll be seeing. It’s sure to be an amazing night!
