Her retirement is significant because she has influenced how the school runs and feels, and her absence will be noticed in our community at SOAR. Mrs. Johnston started working at SOAR in late 2018. School is often thought of as assignments and tests, while teachers are the ones who help make learning inspiring, significant, and fun. This year, Teacher Appreciation Week runs from May 4-8, 2026.
