Pep Rally

Pep Rally for SOAR Lancaster will take place on December 19, 2025. Similar to previous years, this is the last day of the high school semester. Students will not follow their normal Friday schedule and will be assigned to the location where they check in as it gets closer to the date. The theme for the events will be centered around Marvel, meaning each high school class will assign a fitting role, villain, heroes. etc, for the students to dress up. 

Students who have been looking forward to this event are also some of the performers who will be participating in some of the various acts happening at the pep rally. There will be a spirit week leading up to the event, but the themes for each day have not been disclosed. Small events, including API’s tinkling, SDC’s (SOAR Dance Club) dance, Music Club performance, and Sports Club game,s will be happening at the Pep Rally. A junior at SOAR, Jalilah Lim, states, “One thing I’m looking forward to during the pep rally is API’s (Asian and Pacific Islander Club) tinkling performance.”

  Like previous years, each class has created and is secretly working on its chants. A junior at SOAR, Michael Reece, said, “I’m excited to see how the classes represent themselves, especially Class of 27, because they are going to be Dr. Doom.” Nobody from other classes should know another class's chant and/or song. For example, the freshman, Class of 29, should not know the chant or song that the seniors, Class of 26, are doing. These chants will be used to earn spirit points to rank each class depending on those points.

Students are excited and looking forward to dancing, cheering, and collaborating at Pep Rally this school year!
