Soar Captures Third Place in Black Knowledge Bowl

Competitive events always reveal the amazing abilities of teams and individuals. This past Friday, the annual Black Knowledge Bowl took center stage, bringing together schools in a fierce contest for top honors. The atmosphere was filled with energy, as students engaged in a battle of wits and teamwork.


Among the standout teams were SOAR Prep, SOAR Palmdale and SOAR Lancaster, delivering stellar performances. Spirited by determination and knowledge, SOAR Prep earned first place followed by SOAR Palmdale in second and SOAR Lancaster in third. This event was not only a showcase of intellect but also a significant milestone for every participating team.


The Black Knowledge Bowl is a unique platform that highlights African American history, culture, and contributions. This educational competition inspires students to learn about topics that extend beyond their usual curriculum.


With a perfect blend of fun and education, the event instills a sense of pride among participants. Schools do not enter just for victory; they also aim to strengthen their connections with their heritage. Typically, the competition involves several rounds of challenging questions covering a wide range of topics.
