The 24-25 year is coming to an end, and for the current Seniors, their load is being taken off of them. As college acceptances roll in and students dress up for decision day, now the Class of ’26’s turn to take the wheel.

Current Seniors will be arriving in different classrooms to go through their application process, to give some information to juniors who may need inspiration. There is already a plethora of juniors who have become even more excited seeing their senior counterparts get accepted into their top schools!

James Paulo, a SOAR junior, hopes to attend UCLA in the future. As three of SOAR’s very own Seniors have secured their spot as a Bruin, it only brings more hope to them. “UCLA is one of my top schools! Its student body and its academics are what make it rank so high on my list!” And he’s not the only senior with this thought.

Anthony Perry, another SOAR junior, has talked about how he gained ideas for his college application supplements. He has already started drafts, making sure he gives all of his applications a solid foundation. His PIQs for the UC Schools are currently underway, but that's not all! “I’ve also started my Common App essay. I believe it’s great to start so soon, so that I’ll have enough time for corrections and polishing. I aim to make it to a school that embodies me as a person, even if I am not sure which one that is yet.” He has many goals and will continue researching schools that would serve him best.

Now that the juniors have finished taking the SATs, they can now focus fully on finishing up this year and making their way to the so highly awaited one, Senior Year!
