IT Chapter 2, rated R, will be out September 6th. The movie follows the “loser club” as adults in their final battle with Penny wise. All in all, IT Chapter 2 should be really fun to watch with some friends.
Pennywise is back. The hit movie IT now has a sequel which will be released in theaters on September 6th. IT Chapter 2 will star the "loser club" as adults in their final fight to defeat Pennywise. The movie will take place in the original town, Derry, where Pennywise once terrorized the "loser club." The "loser club" has finally grown up, and although they all went separate ways a haunting phone call will bring them back to Derry, where Pennywise awaits them. Additionally, clips from the 2017 film that did not make it to the final cut for the first IT (2017) movie be featured in IT Chapter 2 to emphasize the trauma that the children went through. Director Andres Muschietti directed IT (2017) and made the film the highest paying horror movie ever made, so IT Chapter 2 has a lot to live up to. Muschietti’s first cut of the movie was 4 hours and the filmmaker thought that was unacceptable. If we are lucky, we could get an extended version, later in the year. Andres Muschietti is a very versatile director, he can depict coming of age moments, incorporate humor into his horror films, and highlight the good moments and attributes that, specifically, “the loser club” shows in both of the IT films. Overall, IT Chapter 2, should be a fun horror movie to watch because of the director's comical approach. Keep in mind IT Chapter 2 is rated R, but if it's anything like IT (2017) it should be a good movie to watch.
