Journalism’s Editor-in-Chief is Haya Ansari. As president, she holds the responsibilities of aiding in the management of Journalism by advising officers, overseeing the editing of articles that go on the website and paper and helps organize fundraisers. Always the team player, Haya creates senior ads for Yearbook thanks to her creativity and attention to detail. Previously, she held the positions of Features and Entertainment Editor and Website Manager. She had created the TheSOARce Website, which Journalism manages as well. Aside from journalism, Haya takes interest in STEM-related fields where she is a part of the STEM Research class and InvenTeam, serving as the latter’s secretary. Haya is actively involved in Key Club, NHS, and CSF. Outside of SOAR, Haya is a black belt in Martial Arts and an accomplished violinist. She enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and drawing. 

She is an asset to Journalism and her hard work is always encouraging and helpful for our team’s perseverance and advancement.
