Nadia Trejo

Hi guys! I'm Nadia! A fun fact about me, is that my name means "hope."I have history with art itself. Whether its dancing, drawing, painting, creating music- I've dabbled in quite a few forms of art. One of my favorite being writing. It's the whole reason as to why I've joined journalism. Journalism is the only club I am a part of as of now, but I plan to apply to Esports. I'm also interested in Music Club, Art Club, BSU, Hispanic Club, DnD, and possibly a few others since I don't remember them all... Back to why I joined journalism... Writing has always been a part of me. I found English lessons easy, and always had a way with words. I never truly realized the potential I held until my 5th grade teacher mentioned I had only 1 mistake in an essay I had wrote for an assignment. Since then, I've been brainstorming, creating characters, and making the worlds they live in through words and images. My drawing and writing skills go hand in hand. I'm especially excited for journalism since I've always dreamt of becoming a published author one day! I have several stories that I'm working on at the moment, and I know that they have the potential of appearing on shelves. I hope that Journalism can further my knowledge in writing, and help me shape my voice as a writer. I'm looking forward to not only journalism, but the school year! I can't wait to meet you all- and possibly make even more new friends!
