Meet Mariah Martinez, an ambitious, friendly, and open-minded junior, ready to dive into the year strong as a new member of the journalism team. In her free time, Mariah enjoys investing herself in DIY projects or simple nighttime skating. As a big sister, she happily shares her days with her five younger siblings, who each offer a new and different adventure. Along with Journalism, Mariah participates in Mock Trial, Film Club, and Music Club, where she is not only the club's secretary but also a lead singer. She hopes to challenge herself this year by stepping out of her comfort zone to explore the activities she's been too shy to try, such as Journalism. Writing may not be her strong suit, but she is determined to perfect this handy skill. Though there may be bumps along the way, Mariah is certain that this year will be her best yet!
