Meet Nicolas J. Padilla! He is a freshman at SOAR High School and came from Endeavor Middle School. He likes to play video games and take naps. Nicolas joined Journalism because he wants to be a journalist when he grows up. Nicolas grew up in San Fernando, California. He lived in an apartment with his cousins and grandparents. When he was in 2nd grade, his parents found a house in Lancaster and moved there. Although he did move to Lancaster, he continued to go to school in San Fernando until 7th grade. In 7th grade, he switched schools. He was really sad because he had left all of his elementary friends behind. Little did he know he would make even better friends. Throughout Nicolas's journey, he has learned a lot. He hopes to be a better writer this year!
