Meet Cynthia, as she’s currently in her junior year and first year in journalism, hoping to get straight As across the board by the end. Other than school, she’s completely immersed in the empowering tales of the movie Enough, featuring Jennifer Lopez, from which she states, “I like the suspense and action. I also like how confident and strong the main character, Slim, was,” and adores soul-soothing music. And Cynthia has shaped the more active parts of her life through myriad forms of dance and her love of badminton. But nothing can compare to the amount of love she holds for her family and savors every moment she shares with them. From this day on, she aspires to become a proud woman who gets to live comfortably for the rest of her life, and by joining journalism, she’ll take another strong step toward that future.
