Deanna Clark-Ramirez

Meet Deanna Clark-Ramirez, a freshman entering her first year in journalism. She found her passion for writing in 7th grade, when she was able to exercise creative freedom in her essays. Because of that experience, she is hoping that The SOAR Newspaper will give her a way to express her thoughts and write about her interests. In her free time, Deanna enjoys watching movies and writing reviews on Letterboxd, and one of her favorites is Final Destination 2. She is also slowly building a collection of comic books, especially from the X-Men collections. Most important to Deanna is Domino, a black-and-white spotted chihuahua mix that has been with her through the best and worst times. She is excited for what this year has to offer and will make the most of her freshman year experience.
